At RLT, therapy is for most people ages 12+ to 65, regardless of identity, background. RLT is not specialized in care for aging adults, who often require more neuropsych support. RLT does not specialize in care for nuerodiverse persons and cannot complete the Nuerolpsych and Developmental testing to confrim or diagnosis ADHD in Adults nor ASD in children.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult/legal guardian for the first visit. After that an authorized adult must be in the same building/easily accessible in case of emerganies.

If apporpraite some older teenagers may be able to have sessions at school in a private space inside after compelteing the intial evaluation.

Everyone’s time in therapy is differnet. For some people who enage in EMDR total sessions can be less than 10. Other methods like Interal Familiy Systems and Trauma Informed-CBT usually can require longer time frames.

No, not at this time. RLT does not yet a “brick and mortar” space. It is the goal of RLT to one day be able to offer in-person services.

Therapy can be used to address a wide varitey of concerns from testing anxiety, peer conflict, major life changes, relationship challenges, societial oppression (insitutionalized racism), trauma from natural disaters to interpersonal/institutional violence, affirming identities, grief, distress from state-shifting (disassociation, to being a Voice Hearer or Vision Seer) and distressed mood expressions such as anxiety, depression, and Bipolar.

RLT understands that emergencies and last-minute schedule conflicts arise. Please give 48 hr notice of cancellation/reschedule. Late cancellations and no shows will be charged a flat rate of $50-$75.
